Introduction
Welcome to **NexHack 2.0, a 36-hour National-Level Hackathon **scheduled for 25th–26th September 2026, bringing together some of the brightest student innovators from across the country.

NexHack 2.0 provides an exciting platform for participants to showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities by developing innovative, AI-driven solutions to real-world challenges. The hackathon is designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and technological excellence while empowering participants to transform bold ideas into impactful solutions.

# Who Can Participate?
• Students from all colleges and universities are welcome.
• Teams must consist of 2–5 members.
• Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged to promote diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.
• Beginners are highly encouraged to participate.
# Hackathon Journey
Phase 1: Registration
Register your team through Devfolio before the registration deadline.
Phase 2: Online Idea Presentation
All registered teams will be invited to present their project idea during an online evaluation session with the mentor panel.
During the presentation, teams should showcase:
• Problem Statement
• Proposed Solution
• Technology Stack
• Key Features
• Expected Impact
• Prototype Demonstration (recommended)
• Future Scope and Vision
Teams should be prepared for a short Q&A session where mentors may ask questions regarding the feasibility, technical approach, and scalability of the proposed solution.
Phase 3: Shortlisting
Based on the online presentations and evaluation, the highest-scoring teams will be shortlisted for the 36-hour offline Grand Finale.
Phase 4: Final Offline Hackathon
Shortlisted teams will participate in the 36-hour National-Level Hackathon, where they will build, refine, and enhance their solutions with guidance from mentors and industry experts.
Phase 5: Final Evaluation & Winner Announcement
Teams will demonstrate their working solutions before the judging panel. After evaluation, winners will be announced during the closing ceremony.
# Online Round Evaluation Criteria
Projects will be evaluated on the following parameters:
• Innovation & Originality – 25%
• Problem Relevance & Impact – 20%
• Feasibility of the Proposed Solution – 20%
• Technical Approach & Technology Stack – 15%
• Clarity and Quality of Presentation – 10%
• Scalability & Future Scope – 10%
Only the top-performing teams will advance to the final round.
# Final Evaluation Criteria
During the hackathon, judges will evaluate projects based on:
• Innovation and Creativity
• Technical Complexity
• Functionality and Working Prototype
• UI/UX Design
• Real-world Impact
• Presentation and Demonstration
• Scalability
• Business Potential (where applicable)

• All work submitted and presented must be original and developed by the participating team.
• Teams must adhere to the Hackathon Code of Conduct throughout the event.
• Any form of plagiarism, misconduct, or unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.
• Participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect towards fellow participants, mentors, judges, and organizers.
• Teams must attend their scheduled online presentation. Failure to do so without prior approval may lead to disqualification.
• The decision of the organizing committee and judging panel shall be final and binding.
